I don’t know why I love an insurmountable challenge so very much. I am naturally self-discipline adverse. Schedules, deadlines, and daily routines are not my thing, BUT I keep taking the plunge and signing up for challenge after challenge.
April is Camp Nanowrimo. If you don’t know what Camp Nanowrimo is then read up HERE.
Yes, I am participating in Camp Nanowrimo (which fits in nicely with my RoW80 goals) because I found last year’s Nanowrimo to be a great experience. Great and exhausting.
I am also planning to attempt my first VEDA. If you have been following me for any amount of time you may have noticed that my videos are sporadic at best. And honestly, the quality of my content is not as good as I’d like it to be. So, taking a page out of my writer’s playbook, I plan to push my boundaries.
I mean, I can only get better. Right?
In order to create your masterpeice you have to create a large body of content. For every video with millions of views, there are literally hundreds of hours of not-so-great content from the same creator. For every literary masterpeice there are thousands of pages of mediocrity, most of which never see the light of day (thank God).
So welcome to April, the month where my big dreams and aspirations threaten to overwhelm me. If you hang out for a while you might get a chance to see me slowly suffer a nervous breakdown….or be awesome. It’s a toss up, really.
